Meet Dale
Dale has been a member with us for 3 months.
Before training at MEE-FIT, Dale’s biggest struggle was keeping his weight down. Seeing himself in a video coming out of the sea really made Dale realise just how much weight he’d gain - he barely recognised himself.
He was also struggling with a lack of fitness and shortness of breath, which was impacting his work.
Dale’s goals when joining us were to manage his weight, improve his fitness levels so he wasn’t out of breath easily, and just generally feel better in himself.
Like so many of our other members, Dale realised he couldn’t do it alone.
He’d tried and failed in the past, but without the support and accountability he would quickly fall off track and be back to square one.
He was fearful of the stereotypical ideas that come with joining a gym: people on their phones, people laughing at newbies who don’t know what they are doing and didn’t like the idea of being in that environment. However, Dale soon realised that MEE-FIT isn’t like that.
In just 3 months Dale has lost around 8kg, he’s increased his strength massively and is feeling fitter than he has in over 20 years.
