Graham’s Story
*“I used to train hard. As a competitive skier and rugby player, I was training 15+ hours a week in my teens and early 20s. But then life got in the way—work, travel, family—and my fitness slowly faded.
I tried to get back into training, even set my sights on triathlons, but then disaster struck. I broke a bone in my foot, which led to a blood clot that nearly ended everything. Eight months later, I had a chest infection that triggered a heart attack. That was my wake-up call—I had to do something.
But after years of inconsistent training, I knew I couldn’t do it alone. That’s when I found MEE-FIT.
Since joining, I’ve built my strength back up in a way that actually works. My back injuries, which have plagued me since my 20s, don’t bother me anymore. I don’t wake up worrying if today’s the day my back will ‘go.’ I’ve gained strength, pushed my limits, and, for the first time in decades, I’m training at a level that reminds me of my younger years.
