Meet Miriam

Miriam Shaw is a 63-year-old who came to MEE-FIT in October 2025 with one clear goal: stay strong and avoid injury as she got older — without giving up the joy of training.

The Challenge

Miriam had always stayed active and enjoyed fitness, but her form was off and she kept picking up injuries.

She knew what she should be doing, lifting heavy with good form, but training alone at home or in traditional gyms meant she was either overdoing it or playing it safe. The result? No real progress, and a lot of niggles like shoulder pain and tennis elbow.

Why She Nearly Didn’t Start

Having worked with a 1-to-1 personal trainer before, Miriam worried she might miss the personalised attention.
