Sharon’s Story
*“Before MEE-FIT, I knew I wasn’t fit. I was overweight, sluggish, and completely lacking motivation—even for running, which used to be my go-to. I needed a push to get back on track.
Since joining, my energy levels have skyrocketed. I want to train now. In fact, when floods stopped me from getting to my session, I was so annoyed because I’d been looking forward to it! The more I do, the more I want to do—and I don’t know how that works, but it does.
The accountability, the structured sessions, and the support from the coaches and community make all the difference. If I was left to my own devices in a standard gym, I wouldn’t push myself. Here, the coaches guide me, correct my form, and challenge me to improve—something I never realized I needed so much.
I also love the booking system because it keeps me accountable. I commit to my sessions, and that structure keeps me consistent. The people here are incredible, and I never feel like I have to ‘put on’ a certain persona. I just show up and do my best, and that’s enough.
I’m now training for something huge—cycling from London to John O’Groats in September. MEE-FIT is helping me build the strength, endurance, and confidence I need to take on that challenge.

I’m so glad I didn’t wait until the New Year to start because now, in January, I already feel fitter, stronger, and more in control of my health.
