You Want to Feel Better in Your Body. You’re Not Alone
If you are in your 40s, 50s, 60s or beyond, you may feel like your body is not cooperating the way it used to.
Aches. Stiffness. Low confidence.
A sense that your fitness has slipped.
A worry that gyms are “not for people like you.”
You might feel unsure where to start. Nervous about injury. Worried about being the least fit person in the room.
Many of the people who walk through our doors feel the same way. And many of them go on to change their lives.
You deserve a place where you feel understood, not judged. Supported, not pushed to your limit. Encouraged, not overwhelmed.
This is where we come in.
We’re Here to Guide You, Not Intimidate You
MEE-FIT was built to give adults 40 to 75 a place where fitness feels safe, welcoming and achievable.
We do not expect you to be fit. We do not expect you to know what to do. We simply meet you where you are and guide you step by step.
Our role is not to be the hero of your journey.
You are the hero.
We are the guide who helps you move forward with confidence.
With expert coaching, a structured onboarding process and a calm, friendly environment, you will always know what to do, why you are doing it and how it helps your long term health.
Our Story: Built for People Who Don’t Feel at Home in Gyms
When MEE-FIT started in Whitchurch, the goal was simple.
Create a place where ordinary adults could feel supported, safe and capable, without the noise and bravado of a typical gym.
As the community grew, something became clear.
Most of our members were between 40 and 75. Many had tried gyms before and felt out of place. Many were worried about injury, confidence or simply not knowing where to start.
So we embraced what we were already doing well.
We designed everything around the needs of adults 40 to 75.
The coaching. The screening. The session structure. The pace.
Everything focused on strength, mobility, confidence and long term health.
Today, with a second location opening in Shrewsbury, our mission remains the same:
Help people who feel intimidated by traditional gyms discover the value of fitness and feel stronger for life.
Our Mission, Vision and Values
Vision:
To help over 1,000 adults in Shropshire build strength, confidence and long term wellbeing.
Mission:
To guide people who feel unsure, unfit or intimidated and show them they can succeed with the right support.
Values:
These values shape every conversation, every session and every decision we make.
